Download Admission FormAdmission is open to all sections of society. The Institute conducts a screening test to judge the capacities of the applicants so as to enforce the principle of excellence. This exercise is done at entry levels of 9th & 11th classes. However, a
part of the policy is that comparatively underprivileged sections of society should not get ignored. Admissions foe the last so many years indicate that the institute has catered to all regions, all religious groups and all linguistic sections of the
students. As a matter of accepted policy preference is given to students from far flung underdeveloped areas.
KNIT has a limited no. of seats at different levels. The schedule given here under presents a glimpse of the available seats.
• 9th – 150 seats
• 10th –150 seats
• 11th -- 400 seats
• 12th –400 seats
The duly screened and selected students are supposed to produce.
a) A certificate from the Headmasters/ Principals of the previous Institutions.
b) School Leaving Certificate.
c) Marks Certificate
d) Character Certificate
e) Migration/ Certificate in the case of a student coming from other Examination Boards.
f) Eligibility Certificate
Counselling Cell
KNIT has constituted a counseling cell comprising senior faculty and experts who are supposed to conduct interactive workshops to assess the capacities, opinions
and interests of the students. A number of students who get motivated or encouraged to follow a particular subject combination seek proper advice from
this cell. The cell has been doing remarkable work to win over quite a few students who had otherwise gone astray.
